Terms
Terms of Service
How the website, consultancy engagements, Voice AI implementations and the Marketing by ScoChat subscription are governed. Client engagements are additionally governed by their own signed proposal and statement of work.
Last updated: August 27, 2026
1. Agreement and scope
These terms govern use of the ScoChat website and services provided by ScoNet. ScoChat delivers three kinds of work, and each is governed differently:
- Consultancy and custom development — custom AI agents, workflows and AI-powered applications, governed by a written proposal and statement of work.
- Voice AI implementation and managed service — governed by the engagement documents agreed for that assistant.
- Marketing by ScoChat — a self-serve subscription product governed by these terms and the plan you purchase.
2. Consultancy and custom development
Custom engagements are scoped after discovery. Deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria, environments, support and fees are set out in the proposal and statement of work for that engagement, which take precedence over these terms where they conflict.
Estimates given before a signed scope are indicative. Engagements may combine implementation fees, a managed service or platform component, usage-based charges and, where agreed, an outcome-linked component. We do not guarantee a specific financial return, and any value modelling shared during scoping is an estimate based on the inputs you provide.
3. Voice AI implementation and managed service
Voice AI assistants are configured per client. Telephony provisioning, supported languages, outbound calling, integrations, recording, transcription and reporting are configuration decisions made in the engagement — none are automatic or included by default.
There is no self-serve Voice AI signup. Portal access is provided to named client users after implementation. Ongoing operation, changes and support are governed by the engagement documents.
4. Marketing by ScoChat subscription and AI credits
AI credits cover higher-cost AI operations such as image generation, premium image editing and large analysis runs. The Starter plan includes 850 AI credits per month, enough for approximately 10 standard generated images. Standard AI writing, rewriting and platform adaptation are included within reasonable plan usage. Included credits reset each billing period and do not carry over unless stated in writing. Additional Marketing by ScoChat plans described as coming soon are not available for purchase and create no entitlement.
- Starter — $39 per month, or $32 per month when billed annually. Plan limits, including brands, connected profiles and included AI credits, are described on the Marketing by ScoChat pricing surfaces.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until cancelled.
5. Your responsibilities
- Approved data: you confirm you have the right to provide the data, documents and system access used in an engagement or workspace, and that it may lawfully be processed for the agreed purpose.
- Call consent: where a Voice AI assistant records, transcribes or stores calls, you are responsible for the disclosure and consent required in the jurisdictions where you and your callers operate, and for approving the wording used.
- Platform permissions: you are responsible for the accounts and permissions you connect, and for holding the authority to grant them.
- Outputs: AI-assisted output is prepared for human review. You remain responsible for verifying accuracy, claims and compliance before anything is published, sent or acted upon.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use our services to produce or distribute unlawful, deceptive, harassing or infringing content.
- Do not attempt to bypass permissions, rate limits, tenant boundaries or security controls.
- Do not impersonate a person or organisation you are not authorised to represent.
- Do not use an assistant or agent to make representations you are not entitled to make.
7. Preview functionality
Interfaces on this website labelled as previews contain sample data for demonstration only. No real call, publication, account connection, payment or authentication occurs in a preview, and preview data creates no rights or obligations. Product descriptions may refer to planned capabilities that are not yet generally available.
8. Third-party platforms and providers
Our services interact with third-party platforms, model providers and telephony networks through their APIs. Availability, features, pricing and rate limits are controlled by those providers and may change without notice. We do not guarantee that a specific third-party capability will remain available.
9. Intellectual property and licensing
You retain ownership of the data, content and knowledge you provide. You grant us the limited rights required to deliver the agreed service. Ownership or licensing of custom-developed deliverables is set out in the applicable statement of work; absent a specific provision, we retain our pre-existing tools, frameworks and know-how and license the delivered solution to you for your business use.
The ScoChat name, brand, website design, copy and original graphics are owned by or licensed to ScoNet. Third-party names belong to their respective owners.
10. Payment
Marketing by ScoChat subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing period through our payment provider. Engagement fees are invoiced according to the schedule in the applicable statement of work. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise, and overdue amounts may result in suspension of the affected service.
11. Availability and support
We operate our services with reasonable care and communicate planned maintenance where practical. We do not offer a service-level or uptime commitment on this website; where an engagement requires one, it is agreed in that engagement's documents. Support scope and response times for custom and Voice AI work are defined in the applicable agreement.
12. Termination
You may cancel a Marketing by ScoChat subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Custom and Voice AI engagements are terminated according to the terms of the applicable agreement. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached or where continued access creates legal or security risk.
13. Warranties and limitation of liability
Except as expressly stated in a signed agreement, services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected service in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
14. Informational content
Guides, checklists and resources on this website are general operational information. They are not legal, cybersecurity, financial, medical or platform-compliance advice for a specific organisation, and they do not replace advice from your own counsel or a signed agreement with us.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will revise the date below. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent to sales@sconet.com.
